  • 1 family size pizza crust
  • ¼ cup pesto
  • ½ cup mozzarella, shredded
  • 4 slices salami
  • Fresh arugula
  • Kalamata olives
  • Green olives
  • Italian seasoning

THE STEPS

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the pizza crust into a circle to fit your Stargazer Cast Iron skillet, with enough to fold over the edges.
  3. Spread pesto sauce onto the top and sprinkle with cheese. Add salami pieces and olives throughout. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with arugula. Serve warm.

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 16 oz cremini or baby bella mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 16 oz orecchiette pasta
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cracked pepper

THE STEPS
  1. Cook bacon in your Stargazer Cast Iron skillet and reserve drippings in the pan. Place bacon on a plate lined with a paper towel.
  2. Add mushrooms and garlic to skillet and continue to cook over medium/low heat. Cook until mushrooms are browned and softened. 
  3. Meanwhile, cook pasta in a separate pot until al dente. Drain and set aside. 
  4. Add heavy cream and chicken broth to your skillet. Cut your bacon into pieces and add to the skillet along with red wine vinegar and green onions. 
  5. Stir in pasta and coat well. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve warm.

Teriyaki Salmon

THE INGREDIENTS
  • 2 salmon loins, without skin
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • Chives, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Ground pepperoncino (or black pepper)


THE STEPS

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F.
  2. On the stovetop, bring 1 tbsp of sesame oil up to temperature over medium high heat. 
  3. Add the salmon loins one by one, and sear them on each side for about 1 minute per side or until golden-brown. Remove the skillet from the heat.
  4. In a small bowl, add the teriyaki sauce, honey, remaining sesame oil and lemon juice. Mix together. 
  5. Pour the teriyaki mix on the skillet with the salmon loins, and place in the oven.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on desired doneness. 
  7. Remove from oven and cover with chives, lemon zest, sesame seeds and ground pepperoncino (or black pepper). Serve warm.

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ cup red salsa
  • ¼ pound Oaxaca or Manchego cheese, sliced
  • 1½ cups pico de gallo
  • Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp salt

THE STEPS
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. 
  2. Heat your Stargazer Cast Iron skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Add chicken and cook on both sides for 2-3 minutes each side. 
  3. Drizzle with salsa and place in the oven to cook internally. 
  4. Once cooked through (about 25 minutes), add a slice of cheese to each chicken breast. Place back in the oven for a few minutes or until cheese starts to bubble. 
  5. Remove from oven, add pico de gallo and sprinkle with salt. Garnish with cilantro and serve warm.
