13.5-Inch Cast Iron Braiser

Sale price$ 195.00
Finish: Seasoned

Introducing our 13.5-inch braiser. It features a wide base, shallow sloped sides and two short handles. It's ideal for oven roasting, shallow frying, braising and open fire cooking. The cooking surface is machined smooth for non-stick performance, just like our skillets.

We offer our cookware in two finishes: seasoned or bare. Our seasoned skillets have already been seasoned by us with two coats of our oil blend, made of canola, grapeseed and sunflower oil. Our bare skillets are dipped in mineral oil to protect them in transit. Just wash off the oil and season it however you like.

Big in Size but Easy to Handle

The brasier pan is super big and I love it for making a few tortillas at once. But it really rocks in the weight department. It is solid but not so heavy that I can’t pick it up. The only issue I have had with the pan is that on our induction stove we don’t have a heating element as big as the pan and it doesn’t heat quite to the edges. But it’s easy to just flip stuff to get even cooking. Another plus for me is that after I seasoned the pan (following the directions from Stargazer) the pan fries an egg with just a bit of butter or oil and it doesn’t stick!

Best Cast Iron Ever

Waited awhile for my Stargazer Braiser, but it was worth the wait!
Bought some Costco prime steaks, and thought they were better than a steak house steak.
Thank you Stargazer Braiser!!!
Wish I had taken a picture, but was to hungry watching them cook.

Finally, at last , home sweet home

Very nice looking , Awsome finish , think I'm gonna spend some time Seasoning this in my outside BBQ ! Looks great next to my (3) 12 inchers ! Only question is are lids ever gonna Be available for any of these items ? Flat cast iron lid for that big Boy Brazier for camping , thinking putting over a camp fire with a swing out grating to check on cooking progress

Thanks for positive feedback, Michael! We have plans for lids in development but they are not currently available.

Great for a Newbie!

I'm fairly new to cast iron cooking and I'll admit I don't use it for everything. But I love frying meat up, adding this and that and then popping it all in the oven. It's great for 1-dish casseroles. Easy to clean if you use a chainmail scrubber. Plan on enjoying my braiser for many years!
