Stargazer over Smithey

Not even a comparison, stargazer yields the best results over and over again.. just purchase my 4th product & I also received other brands as gifts & they don’t even come close (which is why I just purchased my 4th!) I just unboxed my 10.5 Stargazer. What a beautiful cast this is. Immediately put the grape seed oil to it, let it smoke out, wiped then threw in the bacon. Not one single slice stuck to the pan. Easily cleaned with just a wooden spoon, reheated and wiped out the remnants clean with a paper towel. I love my Field Co. CA.. but this pan has easily become my everyday go to. Hope it will sear a steak like my fields do.

Can’t go wrong with a stargazer. Easily one of the best pans of any kind on the market. Love my carbon steel stuff but the stargazer is my go to pan. Gave my other one to my son so happily got another for myself.

My new favorite pan

I’ve been skeptical about the new cast iron hitting the market, but after a lot of deliberation I wanted to see if they were worth the hype, and the price.

Happy to say this pan is fantastic. I season it with bacon fat between use, never had an issue sticking, I use it stove top and in the oven. On top of that it looks great too.
