12.5 inch / a few years

We had our skillet now for a few years. What started out as “we want a cast iron” has turned into a daily use cooking item. Rarely does a day go by where the 12.5” skillet is not used for some sort of meal or item. Meat is wonderful in it, really, everything is wonderful!!

A quick wash is some mild soapy water with a rag or a still bristle, back onto the gas to dry and then some olive oil - after every use. This addition to our kitchen has been wonderful

Well done Stargazer!!!

mom

I bought the 10.5 for my 87-year-old mom, and she loves it, especially the weight and handles on both sides. The pan is the best—so smooth that Barry White could have written a song about it.

Smooth Iron

Purchased seasoned 10.5” skillet. I immediately water washed and seasoned twice with one hour at temperature and overnight cooldown. Cornbread was first cook, perfect! “Deep” fried coconut shrimp, heat retained nicely, shrimp browned to specs. Cleanup of the smooth surface is a breeze with a paper towel. Stargazer proudly included in my functional collection of cast iron.

Great Cast iron Skillet.

I am not a cook, but I like to eat. I bought a seasoned skillet. I followed the instructions and started off with sauteed onions and Hamburgers. So far, it has been good; seasoning is building. This morning, eggs and bacon were served for breakfast, and there were no sticking issues. I just cook stuff I like. Heat management seems to be the key. The Codfish I pan-roasted came out pretty good. It's been a very good purchase for me and well worth what I had paid. I am single, so the 10.5 inch is just the right size and not to heavy either. I am almost 70 to bad these were not a round when I was 21, by now the pan would be a thing of real beauty!
